As a Social Impact Advisor, I work with clients as a consultant, facilitator, and coach.
From 2001-2009, I worked with a national consulting firm and conducted evaluations and facilitated strategic planning processes for a variety of nonprofits and also helped develop philanthropic strategies for foundations and corporate citizenship departments.
Since late 2009, I work independently and offer strategy, evaluation, grants management, and team development services. I am passionate about supporting people and systems for positive social impact.
My style comes from being raised by educators, living in diverse communities,
working within nonprofits in various departments, earning a M.S. in Public Service Management, and consulting for nearly 50 organizations, including museums, schools, corporate charities, churches, associations, foundations, social service agencies, management support firms, etc.
I hone my skills through ongoing professional development, and I adapt my services
to the ever-evolving nonprofit and business sectors. For certain projects, I draw from my trusted professional network (e.g., fund development experts, lawyers, HR consultants, etc.), and I affiliate.
My favorite projects are those where clients bravely face challenges and explore promising potentials for personal, team-based, and organizational transformation.
